The $100k Foundation presents: Pathways to Possibilities

Bring real mentors to your school

We bring young successful entrepreneurs into high schools to share their stories, so students can see paths they never knew were possible.

Nathaniel Gardner speaking on stage

After hearing these stories

78% of students discovered a new pathway

Students found a potential career they hadn't considered before.

Chanée Dowdie speaking on stage

The problem

45% never had access

to meeting an entrepreneur or business owner. Let's change that for your students.

Brandon Fenton speaking on stage

Grade 11 & 12 students

51% are inspired

to start their own business or side project after the session.

Meet the speakers

Meet Black entrepreneurs who are making history.

Our mission

Make sure no Black students get left behind.

Javon Martin speaking on stage

“How many of you know what you want to be when you grow up?”

That's where the conversation starts, because it's one of the most common questions adults ask kids. Don't you remember when someone asked you this too? Of course you do.

Jaylen Babb-Harrison speaking on stage

But the better question is, “How many of you don't know?”

Not every child has someone who cares enough to actually want to know, or access to people working unique careers who can show them different pathways.

Josiah Martin Joseph speaking on stage

The system for our youth is broken.

So on February 24, 2026, we brought 6 entrepreneurs to a high school to share their stories with 500 grade 11 and 12 students. Then we asked the students what changed.

What the teachers are saying

Jerusalem Groves
Grade 11 Teacher

“You met them at their level.”

I think you did well keeping them focused throughout the whole duration of the session, they're easily distracted. But since you spoke to them at a pace and with words they understand, I think you did that really well. Very well executed.

Grade 12 Teacher

“Our demographic can see themselves reflected on stage.”

It's important to show them the different jobs other than doctor, engineer. There are so many things that you can do. It's great that they can see these being transferable outside of school and in the real world.
